5 of 5 Still going after 7+ years November 11, 2016
Reviewer: Mike Weasner from Oracle, AZ
This is an update to my review from 2014.  From Aug 2009 to Feb 2016 my POD had an 8" LX200-ACF telescope and performed admirably during that time.  In February I upgraded the observatory to a 12" LX600 telescope.  The POD continues to make a wonderful home for this larger telescope. The POD has survived our southern Arizona summer sun and heat, Monsoon thunderstorms, hail, and yes, even snow. 7+ years and the POD still looks the same as it did in 2009.  I am definitely glad I chose the POD in 2009.

5 of 5 5 Years and Still Love It! August 5, 2014
Reviewer: Michael Weasner from Oracle, AZ United States
After doing a LOT of research into observatories that would be set up on my "retirement land", I decided on a SkyShed POD.  I ordered a GPOD XL5 in May 2009; it arrived in July 2009.  It was easy to set up and has now been in very frequent use for 5 years (as of Aug 2014).  The POD has proven to be an excellent investment to protect my equipment and provide a "home" to me and my telescope. We have pretty extreme weather here in southern Arizona and the POD has survived admirably.  Temps have ranged from 120F to 6F.  Rainfall has been over 1" at times.  Snow, heat, water, cold; nothing has put my equipment at risk.  I definitely recommend a POD as your "personal observatory".  You will love it as much as I do.
